Mission
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college strives to :
- Sustain and enhance the quality measures upgraded by the institution since its inception in the year 2004.
- Arrange for periodic assessment and accreditations.
- Stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research.
- Promote collaboration with other stakeholders of higher education for quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance.
- Encourage self-evaluation and accountability.
- Promote quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programs. The IQAC consistently works for catalytic improvement and consciously contributes towards the overall excellence of the institution.
Objectives and Functions
Based on the recommendations of the NAAC, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was setup at Ananda College during 2004-2005. The Cell monitors the quality parameters in the College and ensures that the standards of excellence reflected in the vision and mission of the College are met and sustained. The IQAC aims to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the college.
- Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.
- Organization of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
- Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
- Preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Report. (AQAR) to be submitted to National Assessment and Accreditation Council
- Preparation of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) to be submitted to NIRF portal.

Graduate Attributes
The Ananda College defines the philosophy underpinning its academic programmes and student life experience on campus through the Graduate Attributes (GA), that describe the knowledge, competencies, values and skills students imbibe for holistic development and contribution to society. These attributes encompass characteristics that are transferable beyond the domain of study into the national and international realm fostered through curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular engagements.

- Graduates of Ananda have a comprehensive and incisive understanding of their domain of study as well as the capability for cross-disciplinary learning.
- They have the ability to apply the knowledge acquired through the curriculum of course the syllabus from tansche and self-directed learning to a broad spectrum ranging from analytical thinking to synthesise new knowledge through Skill Development.
